The harder edge

Patent & Leather

Lacquered finishes, riveted hardware, ribbon you don't apologise for.

Three years ago we taught ourselves to work full-grain leather the way we work coutil. Riveted reinforcement at the lacing channels, hand-burnished edges, every panel skived to a tolerance the machine can't match.

The result is a corset that holds its shape through the evening and rewards the eye that gets close to the seam.

Same desert, different light

The morning after the Goddess Hour suite, the same eastern horizon — this time twenty minutes deeper into civil twilight.

Leather is the wrong material for blue-hour light. Patent and full-grain pull and warp under indirect colour the way lace softens under candlelight. We shot the Patent & Leather suite into the harder edge of sunrise instead — the moment Venus stops being a lantern and the rim of the sky goes from violet to molten orange. Every reflection on the lacquered front was caught in three frames, six seconds, and one shutter-cock.

For the pieces that wear you back

Patent & Leather is the suite for the wardrobe that doesn't second-guess itself. Three picks: the leather-and-mesh flagship, the patent-and-lace hybrid (the pink lace softens the lacquered front by exactly enough), and the leather jacket / chaps pair for the evenings where you'd rather not be the only thing keeping warm.
